Na Drini ćuprija” is a monodrama based on the famous novel  The Bridge on the Drina   by  Ivo Andrić , the Nobel Prize–winning writer from the former Yugoslavia. The performance tells the powerful story of life around the historic bridge in the town of  Višegrad , following generations of people whose destinies are connected to the bridge over the  Drina River . Through one actor, the monodrama brings to life different characters and emotions, reflecting themes of love, suffering, coexistence, and the passage of time in the Balkans. It is an intimate theatrical adaptation that captures the spirit of Andrić’s masterpiece and the deep human stories that unfolded around the bridge for centuries. Language: Serbian
