Krishna Das – Home In The Heart Tour 2026 On April 11th 2026 we are excited to welcome world-renowned musician and leader of transcendental kirtan gatherings, Krishna Das, back to Oslo. Krishna Das’ concerts are revered deeply for good reason, his ability to lift all those in attendance into one central voice is a wonder to behold. Known as the “Chant Master of American Yoga” (NY Times) for popularizing devotional chanting (kirtan) in the West, Krishna Das blends Eastern mantras with accessible melodies and modern sounds, bringing spiritual practice to large audiences. His bridging of genres and worlds has seen him work alongside musicians such as Sting and Rick Rubin and even garnered a Grammy nomination. Krishna Das spent the late ’60’s traveling across the US with his guru brother Ram Dass and in 1970 he finally made the journey to India, where he met Neem Karoli Baba, known to most as Maharaj-ji. Krishna Das now travels the world sharing his kirtan practice and wonderful stories of his life, of Maharaj-ji, of his life on the Path and discusses bringing chanting into our lives. As kirtan awakens bhakti (loving devotion) within the chanter, Krishna Das himself awakens kirtan around the world, offering these beautiful nights of profound connection through the medium of song, introspection and togetherness. We are honoured to invite him back this Spring as a guest of Nixi Music and Mercilife.
