Known as the “King of Swing,” Benny Goodman was one of the defining figures of American jazz. With his virtuosic clarinet playing, groundbreaking big band, and trailblazing role in integrating the jazz stage, Goodman helped bring swing music to an international audience and shaped an entire era of popular culture. We invite you to a special Club Gustav performance celebrating Goodman’s legacy, presented by Felix Peikli & Friends and featuring vibraphonist Christian Lundquist, the renowned percussionist of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK). Together, they revisit the unmistakable energy and elegance of the 1930’s swing era and the Benny Goodman sound! Doors open at 19:00 and 21:30. Concerts start 30 minutes later, giving you enough time to find your seat and get a cocktail.
