Alongside him, “The First Lady of Jazz,” Ella Fitzgerald, captivated audiences with her radiant tone, effortless swing, and masterful scat improvisation. Together, they created some of the most beloved duets in jazz history. We invite you to a special Club Gustav premiere featuring guest artists Alphonso Horne and Lucy Wijnands. A multi-GRAMMY nominee and recently starring in the Broadway musical “Louis Armstrong - A Wonderful World”, Horne is known for his soulful trumpet sound and charismatic vocals, while Wijnands - winner of the Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition - is celebrated for her warm tone and timeless style. Joined by Felix Peikli & Friends, they will honor the enduring legacy of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
