"Echochamber" refers to a phenomenon or a tendency where people seek and find attraction in likeminded ideas and interests. What do we talk about when it's just us? Us who agree, regarding, the most important things. In 50 years time, looking back at this moment I see unfinished seams and shapes that squeak. You are firmly grounded, but I cannot tell where your body ends and the tissue begins. We are just talking. As we always do. We talk about what we ate for dinner last night, what happened in the US over the weekend, and that date you were excited for, and still somewhat nervous for. In the midst of discussing what happened in the US, you forgot about the date and now you are late. So, you get out the door with your coat halfway on. Only to realize that the date isn't until tomorrow. With a new change of pace, you make your way to a cafe. Get your coffee to-go, and move on with your day. Ekkokammer is a show that performs in those small, unique bubbles we like to find ourselves within. The drag artists Florence and Plant have since the summer of 2024 been working alongside each other in Haus of Blossom, while both developing a clear voice within the Norwegian drag scene. For this year's festival they are teaming up to create a full length show of their own! So make sure not to miss out on what these mischievous creatures have prepared.
